Testimonials - Sam Messina

"The move from RE/MAX to Keller Williams occurred after much deliberation including interviews with other major franchises.  As a long-time independent businessman, I believed the RE/MAX model would work best for me.  However, I soon found out that I was competing not only with the other agents in the office, but also the broker.  Amazing to me, the broker to whom I was paying a sizable desk fee, resented my successes, and therefore, offered absolutely no support whatsoever.

Keller Williams was attractive to me for several reasons:
* The commission and franchise cap is approximately equal to the desk fee I was paying; however, KW offers some much more support, training and facilities.

* As a former businessman, I am accustomed to having a say in how things are run -- KW allows me and other agents to have that voice -- this gives me the sense of ownership I find important in controlling the work environment, the office management philosophy/style, and my destiny.

*  As a direct result of the factor cited above, there is an open atmosphere, we share financial data, and we share in each others' successes and failures.  The only competitiveness we experience is the result of each other pushing one another to higher levels each year.

* Profit sharing was not a consideration in my move; however, it is the frosting on the cake.  It is a substantial figure at successful market centers, and it is real -- why would someone not want to share in it?  Furthermore, I believe it is an important element that helps foster the whole sharing culture.

The bottom line is that the KW model combines all the best features of the major real estate franchise options available, while providing an open, sharing, supportive, profitable opportunity.

There has never been one day where I have questioned my move or regretted my move."
