The American Cancer Society Relay For LifeŽ of Plymouth was a resounding
success. The efforts of everyone who Relayed online played a huge part in
our achievements.
But thank you hardly seems like enough to describe the wonderful impact your
help has had on the fight against cancer. The real thanks come from those
who've been touched by these efforts. Think of a newly diagnosed cancer
patient who heard our survivor speaker, Kathy Ellen's Kupps story of victory
at Relay. Or envision the caregiver who finally got to meet someone who had
traveled down the same path of compassion, joy, and loss. For such moments,
we are truly grateful.
We are proud to report that at this year's event a total of 17 teams came
together, bringing over 200 participants who raised $45,300 to date through
Relay For LifeŽ. And a wondrous group of 22 survivors provided inspiration
to all. Again, this was truly an amazing year!"
